This presentation will provide an overview of various leave policies, including FMLA, ADA, state leave programs, statutory disability, and paid family and medical leave (PFML). It highlights compliance requirements, and employer responsibilities.

Dan has been with Principal for 35 years working with the Workplace Benefits the entire time. Over the years, he has had opportunities to lead teams in the Life & Disability claim department, and help create and lead our implementation team focused on case installation for our larger customers and oversee Sales Support and Account Management activities in the regional offices. In his current role, Dan works closely with the Sales and Account Management staff across the country to assist with the new business initiatives and enrollment strategies. Throughout this time, Dan has been the primary subject matter expert for absence management at Principal and was a key architect of the Principal Absence Management solution.
Must be a 2025 member in order to receive the one hour of credit. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy.
