In 2013, the Department of Labor closed 3,677 employee benefit civil investigations. 72.8% of those investigations found violations of ERICA.

She started her employee benefits career as a clerk for the United States Department of Labor – Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA).
While at EBSA, Ms. Grace received extensive training on ERISA and COBRA and participated in numerous investigations of retirement plans, welfare plans and third party administrators. Following her time at EBSA, she worked for a national law firm with over 720 attorneys. She focused solely on ERISA plan documentation, administration and compliance.
Ms. Grace formed her own employee benefits practice in 2009. She has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Kansas and Missouri for 2013 and 2014.
Ms. Grace graduated with honors from Missouri State University with a degree in Business Management. She earned her law degree at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
